Event Information

Title: Multigenerational Workforce: Embracing and Integrating all Generations

Session ID: TU105

Description:

Ever wonder what those Baby Boomers are thinking?  Ever wonder why the younger generation is so fixated on technology?  Ever wonder about that entire group of Gen Xers who are stuck in the middle?  This interactive session will help answer these questions and provide tips and tools on how to get these generations to comingle in our workplace.  This includes understanding what motivates individuals, their values and expectations, and personal work habits, to name a few.  Rather than simply co-exist, we must learn to value everyone’s input and understand what each person brings to the table.  How we embrace this multigenerational workforce will have a direct impact on our success as an individual, a leader, and an entire business.

1. Review different generations currently in the workforce
2. Discuss what influences generational behavior
3. Outline different forms of communication and the incorporation of technology
4. Assess a company’s readiness to embrace and integrate a multigenerational workforce

Continuing Education Hours:  1.5 AIA/CES LU, PDH, TCA, MCAA

Type: WOC 90-Minute Seminars

Cost: $115; $145 after 12/12/23
