Session ID: TH108

Description:

Trust is the leading indicator of an organization's success, and the lack of trust is a huge expense, leading to numerous problems that consume massive amounts of time, energy, and resources. In this program, the 8 pillars for building trust and how to utilize trust to create stronger teams will be outlined. Many leaders don’t understand that trust is a skill that can be developed and strengthened. This session will discuss practical tools as she shares with participants ways they can each become a more trusted leader. Research shows when we increase trust we are able to reduce turnover, reduce project costs and even reduce stress! At the same time we are also able to increase innovation. The more team members trust the more willing they are to share ideas. Increased trust on project teams has also been proven to positively affect the bottom line. In our industry we do a fantastic job emphasizing physical safety, now it’s time for leaders to better understand and emphasize psychological safety. Increased trust results in increased psychological safety which results in stronger teams and cultures where people want to stay!
